Claire Passmore is an artist working with textiles to create art quilts from layers of stitched materials. She is especially interested in the notion of transforming flat planes into three dimensional forms, which often reference the shapes used in traditional quilt patterns. Her focus is on the exploration of geometry and colour, and she delights in discovering the unexpected.
