FORCED REMOVAL

Under Apartheid in South Africa, hundreds of thousands of people of color were forcibly removed from their homes and communities and relocated to inferior locations, making way for 'Whites Only' areas. The legacy of this policy continues to shape South African society today, 31 years after the official end of apartheid.
