CURCURBITA

Part of a series of small textile sculptures created by combining folds, pleats and origami with the flexible properties of textiles with intense, vibrant colour. This arrangement of stitched pyramids reminds me of the flowers from plants in the Curcurbita family, more commonly known as squash or pumpkin.
