Star Sign Mosaics

These colourful mosaic style quilts are based on the signs of the zodiac. Each block has been designed to be 12 inches square, although they can be resized to finish larger or smaller, and look great by themselves as small wall hangings or suspended on a miniature quilt stand. If you enjoy the mosaic technique why not make the signs of members of your family and turn it into a fun and personal family quilt? And if you really love it you could even make them all and put them together to make a huge quilt, just like the one in the slideshow below.
In this live and interactive online class Claire demonstrates the techniques she uses to create these fabric mosaics. Participants can ask questions and chat throughout the demonstration. The same techniques are used to create all the designs you see here, so participants can make any of the designs they wish. It is fun and informal and suitable for all levels of experience.
What is included
One pattern, instructions and specific fabric requirements for any of the star signs is included in the class and will be emailed directly to each participant for printing by them. If paper patterns are preferred these can usually be posted to each person instead, with a supplement of £3 per person being added to the final invoice.
Short videos of the construction technique will also be made available for participants for 4 weeks after the class, accessed via YouTube. The videos also have subtitltes which can be set to the language of your choice.

Any 4 patterns £15 (p&p included within the UK)
Full set of 12 patterns £35 (p&p included within the UK)

CLASS REQUIREMENTS
Half a metre of black fabric, Steam-a-seam 2 (or other fusible), freezer paper, small amounts of colourful fabric (batiks work best).
