Themes of Social Conscience

This is my ongoing work and concerns issues of social conscience, or put more simply, problems and injustices that seem to pervade our society.
I have chosen themes which tell stories of our time; they are things we see and  hear, day in and day out, on the TV or or Facebook feed. Often they are things which shock or annoy us for the ten or so seconds they are shown, but then are just as quickly forgotten as 'life goes on'.
I have deliberately chosen not to put a positive or negative spin on the stories, rather portraying things as they are,
leaving the viewer to reflect upon the content and to perhaps promote conversation.  Several of the quilts are currently on tour.
