CLAIRE PASSMORE artist
These timid little geckos are long term residents in my garden. It always surprises me that such brightly coloured little fellows are so timid. Indigenous to Mauritius, they play an important role in the pollination of many flowers, especially the endangered national flower - the Trochetia. They spend their days chasing insects, sipping nectar and sitting in the warm sun. What a life!
