Knitted plarn made from plastic rubbish bags and recycled supermarket 'Bags for Life'
Made in response to the deplorable lack of PPE provided for front-line UK care workers and medical staff during the Coronovirus pandemic of 2020-2021. In the early months of the emergency these people had no option but to use plastic bin bags and to reuse face masks in an attempt to cover and protect themselves as they worked to save the lives of others as the British government had not made adequate provision for this vital equipment.
