A Garden of Roses
This class is currently only available as an in-person class at your venue
In this class you will design and make your own quilt, using my original 'Garden of roses' quilt as your inspiration. You will learn the techniques I used to create these quilts and then choose your own size, colours, style and shapes to create your own unique 'garden'.
Quilting cotton fabrics are most suitable but if you are adventurous you can also experiment with upholstery fabrics. Mottled fabrics, batiks, ombre, hand dyed fabrics or small prints work well.
You will learn how to cut and piece gentle curves with ease - no pins and no fuss! You will explore how different shapes can give a different style to the quilt and use fused raw edge applique to create your own rose garden. Come with an open mind and design and make your own unique quilt.
