'Not My Grandmother's Garden'
I made this quilt for a challenge set by Quilting Arts Magazine and was pleased to have it selected and published back in June 2014. I took the original idea of using hexagons to create flower shapes and then wandered off the garden path with fabric paint, gold leaf, stamps, buttons, paper and machine and hand stitch - and even a piece of bandage.
In this workshop you can make your own version of this small quilt. I will bring the stamps I made which you are free to use, but I will also show you how to make our own stamps to add interest to your quilt. Great for using up scraps and trying out something a little different.
