It is currently estimated that ten percent of Earth's landmass is covered with glacial ice. As planet Earth heat up the ice is melting, and as it melts it changes the balance of our world's water: frozen to liquid, fresh to salty, deep blue to colourless. This destructive downward slide is lubricated by its own meltwater, and is gradually erasing itself. It is both beautiful and ruinous.
